1. There are fines on your account of $5.00 or greater.
2. There are overdue items on your account.
3. You are trying to request a video/DVD.
   

Step1--Enter STARCat, select your library from the menu, and click "Start Your Search".

Step 2--Enter Search Terms then Click on appropriate Search Button.

Step 3--Review the results, and click "Place Hold" next to the item you wish to borrow.

Step 4--Enter you library card number in the space for "User ID" [omit spaces], your PIN [the last 4 digits of your phone number], select a pickup location, click "Place Hold".

Step 5--Confirmation will be given. Click OK Button.

Note, the system will not allow you to place a hold if:

1. There are fines on your account of $5.00 or greater.
2. There are overdue items on your account.
3. You are trying to request a video/DVD.
   

Note: The item must be checked out by the person placing the hold.
